white4d96
sr20 swap SR20's are expensive though. Demand is pretty high, so you're looking at like $2k for the engine and trans, if not more. If you were to go to a junkyard and pull a KA out of a 240, you pay what, $500 at most? Then you got $1500 to add goodies to it. Plus it's a lot easier to find stock replacement parts for it than for the SR20 (although if you know where to look and what interchanges you can find most parts pretty easy IIRC.) Too many projects, too little time...
EricM9104
Wonder if you could fit a KA24 in there without much drama. The 240SX guys throw them away, so they're dirt cheap, they're torquey, sturdy, and with boost they can make great power (contrary to popular belief.) Still won't rev as high as an SR so... Depending on your wallet, you can do a KA-T swap, or do an SR20DET redtop swap. SR's also bolt right onto KA trannies, dunno about the Z trans... 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 24k miles Stock H/U and mids/highs Power Acoustik GW3-12" D2 Sub HiFonics BXX1200.1D @ 1ohm Random 2.5^3' dual ported box NVX LOC Stinger wiring throughout 1977 Chevy SWB Cammed 350 Dual exhaust Cheap Wish stereo
