SLOPALA Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 I currently have 2 12" Eclipse SW8122.4 (4ohm) with an Eclipse DA6213 amp pushing 250 watts (4ohm) to each sub. The Subs are rated at 500 W RMS. I would like to eventually run a Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bd. The amp is rated at 1000 watts X 1 ch. @ 4 ohms. How would I wire my 2 subs to a 1 channel amp? chapo123 Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 is that sub dvc? then wire each in series to 8 ohm and just wire them normally to amp and the amp is connected internally so it will bridge it down to 4 ohm anyway. fr34kout Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 You would have to wire them in parallel down to 2 ohms, or in series up to 8 ohms. Unless those subs are DVC, then you could wire them in Series-parallel to 4 ohms and be set.

A T2500 is more of a 3000wrms amp and wouldn't be beneficial unless you wanted to upgrade subs and electrical.
