chapo123 Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 okay so i can already tell my highs wont keep up with my subs.. i have 2 5x7s in front doors and 2 6x9s in rear deck. dunno the rms on them. oem tho. (02 sebring) and i just put in a kenwood 25th deck hoping it would make them louder but its around the same. i ahve 2 jl zr tweets that are about 50-60rms single 4's. im thinking of getting another set of some tweets (might not be the same) but around that same rms and impedence. i have enough mid bass trust me lol but basically im planning on running 4 tweets, what are some good amps you would recommend? im really a mids and highs noob.. i dont really know squat about 4 channels either sorry i would prefer sundown to match my saz1500 but that shits pricy lol Quote Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Well do you still want everything to be stereo? Like front to back and right to left all being seperated? Or does that not matter? Because you could run the 4 speakers off 2 of the channels and the tweets off the other 2. Just powering the tweets wouldn't add any vocal. EclipseChris Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 Umm on an active crossover, the low pass high pass and full button on almost every amplifier, you would wire lets say a 4 inch full range speaker and a tweeter with a passive crossover (that little cylindrical thing on the tweeter most of the time) then the full range 4 inch would play all frequencies and the tweeter will only play the frequencies that its crossover lets it. Tweeters do not add vocal, they add much higher frequencies like for cymbals and the stuff that literally hurts your ears. Quote i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P.
