Bryan
ok so ive changed this ground around like 3 times...last night when i was going to the dance it worked fine..i pull up it cuts off..the amp wasnt hot and its been off all day...so i stop look and the logo that lights up and it is barely lit! so i cut the ends on both sides a strip a new side for the amp terminal and car ground...and it wont work..all i get is the logo barely lighting up....i damn sure hope its nothing to do with the amp! Texas Tech
do you have a multimeter? I do and its a cheaper one and you can measure resistance (ohms) on it. I used that to measure the resistance at certain points under my hood to find the best ground, and to see exactly which bolts/nuts have the best connection. I mean in some places it measured to be around 15 ohms and then others it was .1 ohms. So there was a difference in where i placed the ground. ABADDONTHAGREAT
I want to know what it is to cuz my amp is doing tha same but it powers on and stays on but no power to tha speakers but i dont know cuz tha guy that gave it to me had a fuse in there tha was bigger then tha amp could support so tha amp kept getting hot and tha ground came off one time and the tha fuse from tha power cable blew and i canged it and tha one on tha amp i changed it to tha one that tha amp supports...
