elastic Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 i want to replace my factory doorspeakers with a some blaupunkt ones and a 2 channel amp with 190 watt rms. i dont find my doors rattling at all, so do i need sound dedeaner and does it improve sound quality? it would be even more expensive than the speakers i want to put in. the speakers are only for my mids and highs. it will be crossed over at ~ 100 hz. for bass i have 2 15 l7s. my 15 L7 build my youtube channel with lots of L7 videos
Socky Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 The sound dampening will help out with your mid-bass. Also it will help keep the bass inside of the car instead of escaping. So do you notice it in sound quality? Yes.
