Help Ordering HIDs, DDM Tuning

Hey, I'm about to order some HIDs for my truck from DDM Tuning. The bulb is 9007. I already know I need the high/low beam bulbs, but do I need the dual in/out harness or the error eliminator? I'm not sure on what either of these do so I'm just making sure. Thanks.

what car do you have most cars dont need em i think those are for most sophisticated cars like luxury ones

It's a 1997 Ford Ranger.

unless your running 55w bulbs you shouldn't need the harness. and the error eliminator is needed on very few cars.

ied get the 8000k 55w or 6000k 55w depending if u want blue or more white, and for like $15 u can get the relay kit so it dont put as much strain on ur stock wires, most cars are made to handle up to 55w, ive had 100w halogens in my truck till i went to hid but the way hid works i dont think u would need one

my buddy got the 8000k 55w 9007 hi/lows and he loves em and they look sick too

if i was to get a new set of hids i would want a more whiter light but i do like blue tho

and those error eliminators are more for like bmw's n shit like that, and and the dual in out thing i dunno what is really

well tacoma pretty much nailed it. Just get the kit, and the relay. I'd rather have the relay, then not and then not be able to use the hids until it came in . It's cheap, and even if you dont really need it, itll put less strain on the stock car.

That's exactly what I wanted to get was the 55w 8000k. Super bright, white, but still have the nice blue tint. Im pretty sure the relay kit automatically comes with the high/low kit.

The only way I like hids that blue, is if they;re in a crystal clear housing. I cant stand when people put 8k+ hids 35w in the foggy, cloudy, cracked housing. Makes me want to punch a baby

i dunno if that relay kit comes with it but a relay does come with it to work the hi/low selenoid that moves the bulb in n out for high and low beam

most cars i think 90's or more have atleast 14guage headlight harness and that should be plenty for 55w, but my buddy has a f550 diesel so that helps a lil bit, hits put most of its strain at start up anyways so if ur cars running when u turn them on i see no problem, but for an extra $15 bucks it would be good, would be sick if they sent it with it if u got the 55w kit tho
