There are two different battery sizes the 05 Stangs came with. The D1200 would probably be the best fit in the stock location. weell its a 4.0L v6 mustang will a D1200 be the biggest it can go? The D1200 is smaller than the stock battery so I know it will fit, but if you want to go bigger you will just have to take some measurements and see how much room you have to work with.
