A little update on my lvl4

Recommended Posts

I have had my lvl 4 for about 2 months now and that thing is blowing me away it surprises people that I only have one 12 in my truck and this thing blows my 2 12s i had in a prefab box out of the water on the same Alphasonik PMA600hca. I am thinking about rebuilding my box and going a little thicker on the wood cause I have developed a leak or two in my current box lol. Next thing on my list is to upgrade my electrical and maybe switch to a different amp I'm just not sure what I want to switch to though cause I am looking to push about 1400rms to the sub on a daily basis like I do now. So to update I am loving my dc sub

my box is double baffled, braced and 45d at the corners and glassed at every joint except the top and that's where it decided to push apart at. will the lvl4 hold a saz-1500 i was looking into the sax-1200

I'm sure either th 1200 or 1500 will do, be careful on the 1500 for just that one subm

I'm looking to buy a Lvl 4 12 or 15 to put on my SAZ1500D. I will offcourse be building the correct box for it tuned to about 35hz. My electrical is taken care of and I have an extra batterie in the back. Should I be worried with putting that power on a lvl 4?

Remember it ,Write it down, take a picture, I don't give a f*ck.

Not at all, if you do it correctly and know what you're doing

Now I'm just wondering what to go for, a 12 or a 15... The box for a 15 will be roughly double in size if I'm correct. Do you think the 15 would be alot louder..?

It will be going in a Golf 6 GTI btw.. (not a huge trunk lol)

Thnx for any tips/advice!

(kwc280 not meaning to jack your thread bro!, you got any pics of your setup?)
