tsuch20
Started the rebuild yesterday for the 2 15" DC Audio Lvl 4 XL's. Ran into the first problem when pulling out the box. Underneath the box where the wheel well was glassed was an inch of water. Where the box connected to the glass all the wood is warped. Dynamat is totally ruined with rust and holes. So we had to take a couple steps back before we went forward. All the Dynamat was removed and replaced. Re-Carpeted the wheel well for vibration dampening. The box build will start today now that were caught up. Box will be 10 cubes before displacement allowing 8-8.25 cubes for the XL's. Pictures to come... 2011 Subaru WRX Rockford Fosgate T1000-4AD (2) Sets of Rockford Fosgate T3 6.5 Components In the works: Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bdcp (2)DC Audio 12" XLM2

tsuch20
Got some pics ... Overall pics of the box. It starts level and end at a rise of 8" at the back. Box is a total of 10 cubes and after displacement will be at 8.25 cubes for the subs. The lid is 1.5 inchs thick. Should be enough to keep from flexing. Here's a picture of the port firing into the car. This without the beauty panel on. Port ended up being 1.25 cubes and is tuned to 34hz.The beauty panel actually lines up with the port bring it to about a 32hz tune but not precise. Heres the beauty panel for the port. Nothin much to say about it. Just some pictures of the inside of the box and the bracing for the port and walls. Also the battery and isolater in the trunk. More to come when we start the beauty panels and more sealing for the trunk and start wrapping everything. 2011 Subaru WRX Rockford Fosgate T1000-4AD (2) Sets of Rockford Fosgate T3 6.5 Components In the works: Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bdcp (2)DC Audio 12" XLM2

Gonna put like 5 layers of dynamat in there for some needed help lol I'm guessing the 4 12s were firing up towards the trunk too. Lol. If you didn't but the Dynamat yet, look in to Second Skin Damplifier Pro. I'm pretty sure its cheaper and thicker.
