fx4trucker Posted January 13, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 update: well on my never ending search for the right front end speaker has finally ended. i was going to go with hertz but i never seen any in person. well i found a stereo shop here in riverside that stocks high end gear . man he has a nice shop. i saw so much i wanted lol. he even has a arc audio SE 4000 on display and man thats a huge amp lol. any ways. he has in stock the hertz also the hybrid audio speakers. well let me tell you when i saw the hybrid i was much more impressed with that company then with hertz. at around $550 per set on the clarus its not cheep but you get what you pay for thats for sure. so i think 2 sets of those will do the job. one set in the door and one set in the kicks. so hopefully in the next few weeks ill have my front stage. alpine head unit (freebee 2009 model)2 sets of eclpise 5.25 comp. speakers. 1. set is in the a-pilors 1. memphis mojo 2500 watt amp 1. rockford fosgate t2 15" dual 2 ohm wired to 4 ohm . seeing 600 watts 1. realm audio 600 watt 4ch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fx4trucker Posted January 17, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 well i started the box on friday. only had a minute to work on it tho. got some more work on it done today. might need to get another sheet of wood to finish. the box is being built for 2 mtx 9500 12". its w39 h18 d17. its port tuned to 37 or 38hz. lol its not coming out perfect but i guess thats what body filler is for lol. well are some pics enjoy the start this is why i hate cordless power tools lol making progress lol a few screws. will be adding some brad nails later will fill that in with body filler later lol i guess more is better well that will do it for todays work. i was going to add that other side but i didnt want to rush it well the hard part is almost done . cut out the pieces lol a few more cuts and some glue and its done lol i wish it was that easy. now i cant wait to get the subs in a few weeks. i think a powerbass xta 4000 will treat those subs real nice lol alpine head unit (freebee 2009 model)2 sets of eclpise 5.25 comp. speakers. 1. set is in the a-pilors 1. memphis mojo 2500 watt amp 1. rockford fosgate t2 15" dual 2 ohm wired to 4 ohm . seeing 600 watts 1. realm audio 600 watt 4ch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
