i have a 2001 extended cab dodge ram and i have 2 10in polk audio subs under my back seat. they face forward and i dont lose any space at all. i ordered my boxes from pickup specialties. com and they work great. .66 cu in sealed box and the subs want .65 or something like that, very close to what the boxes are. and my amp and cap are also under the seat out of the way and out of view.

2001 Dodge 1500 Single Cab Shortbed.

I am trying to get an idea of what I should do. I definitely want some subs behind me, and would prefer 12's for when we are out of the truck we can still here the base. Most of the boxes I have seen for 12's are to big to fit in the area and have maybe 1.2' from the back of the cab to where my seats at now. Is there anyway possible I could get some "short travel" 12's or would I have to get 10's?

Thanks.

I too am a single cab owner and you can get plenty of bass out of 1 12 behind your seat. you can get 2.5 cubes behind your seat no prob.
