How would you Hook up door speakers to an amplifier? would you make a connection to the headunit then split and run the wries to the amp.

And i heard people talk is it smart to have 2 amps one for tweeters and one for mid range?

and so im guessing tweeters are really just small speakers and that they use up a channel on the amp?

Also a compnent system would need a 4 channel amp for just front? 2 for tweets and two for mids? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_24263_Rockford+Fosgate+T252-S.html

Thanks in advance :)

Just asking Do you have to use the front RCA INs to the Front door speaker amp or can it be switched like Front door speaker amp can go to rear RCA INs?

Also how do you hook up a tweeter and a mid range speaker and another tweeter and mid range speaker to a 2-channel?

You know how you avoid that? Man the fuck up and bang her best friend sister mom cousin worst enemy and never look back.

I'm not sure what you are asking.

But..

Assuming:

You can put any RCA pre-out to any input on any amp.

But if your head unit has a sub controller, you will want the sub amp on the sub pre-out on the head unit.

As for the door speakers:

It's generally a good idea to use what the amp says.

If it says front left, use that for front left.

Hook up the head unit's RCA pre-outs accordingly. Front to front, rear to rear, sub to sub.

Don't criss cross and mix and match - don't be ghetto.

Hope this helps?
