Guest Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 not to jack thread but wont his lights still dim even after the battery. i know i have a dc270xp alt and two shuriken bt-120 batteries and big three done in a 2007 mag and my system still can dim my lights when tight bass hits yes true, but even if voltage drops a tenth, it will cause noticeable light dimming. if it bothers someone that much, just switch to HID/LED everything or something.

Tinted(: Need to get some pics up! I put a lot of work into this car fixing it up since I just bought it. Now time for a system. I think im gonna get in on that XS deal and not go with the KINETIK just because the XS was looking cheap. But I am not sure which XS battery would compare to the HC2000 which I orignally was going to buy. But I asked! Batteries work better when warm. true,but your alt produces less amps when its warm Yeah, still no reason to turn it down, the difference wouldn't matter. And also, if it was colder, his batteries wouldn't work at their optimal performance, but the alt will, so using that logic he would have to turn it down then too.
