Every wire so far has been soldered and heatshrunk

And the right speaker (obviously the same as the left)

And these are all the bits of trim I had to take off:

Got me some fairly thick wires and a dual input 100A breaker - ideal for two of those batteries in the boot:

Finally my exams finished and I could get on with finishing my build

Got the paint for the box

MDF Primer from Homebase (my friend works there so he got a discount)

Metallic blue paint £3 from Wilkinsons

Grey Fleckstone £7 from B&Q

Filled in the screwheads with woodfiller

My friend doing some sanding

I put my on/off switch in a space next to the headunit

Ran the RCA lead, bass remote knob cable, on/off switch lead and a spare

Finally got my trim back on

Priming

Standard issue cut – just from rubbing the paintbrush up and down inside the port

Second coat of primer

Late night grey primering

Rocking the flip-flops!!

Ran out of grey primer so I did the port black (holding a spray can in a port is difficult)

This is the spare wire (I may put lights in the boot or need a switch) so I taped it to the back of the blanking plate next to the on/off switch for the amp
