Found a foam ring, cut it for a better seal for the sub

This is seriously heavy to lift. It is 1” MDF with a 2” baffle

Made some terminals for the trip switch by cutting some copper pipe and crushing it in the vice

Got some MDF for free (a guy I was helping clear out his garage gave me them)

Looks like a battery plate and fuse holder can be made – lets get creative

Cut a small length off the original DIN rail

I cut some notches to stop it sliding around

I also put a strap over them by drilling a hole to let it through

Got heatshrink?

Ah – the wire I got from the fusebox is a bit too big for my flat terminals.

So I put the middle in and soldered the rest to the outside then covered it with heatshrink

SPL Dynamics 0 gauge

Voodoo 0 Gauge

No idea what make but its enough to go from front to back

Also a few bits of 4 gauge and 8 gauge

My sub is dual 4 ohm wired down to 2ohm so it is putting out 500W RMS

My ring terminals came from darvex.com

I got all these delivered for about £20

Also bought some bolts, washers, nuts and wingnuts from Screwfix

The battery clamp happened to have an 8mm bolt – a perfect place for upgrading my battery to chassis ground
