xx2kfirebirdxx
I want to know which sub would be better. The HDC3 is rated at 1krms and for DC i would be getting the level 4 which is rated at 1krms. Between the two brands which would be best for me to push two of them with my kicker zx2500.1? Just an fyi i am gonna get 12 inch subs. just letting everyone know

Just an fyi i am gonna get 12 inch subs. just letting everyone know I'm giving my lv.4 1500wrms daily and it hardly moves. even outside tuning freq. (by hardly i mean nowhere near its 23mm xmax ratings). 1 gets really loud. I'd go with dc since i've bought from them and know how awesome it is. my .02 :] 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud. korey_hofer
between hd3c and lvl4 dc doesn't stand a chance, closer comparison would be xl vs aq previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
xx2kfirebirdxx
Ok ill prolly go with the aq subs. So my kicker zx2500.1 will push them decently tho right?
korey_hofer
yeah they will be good on that power, they don't need a million watts each to get loud previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
xx2kfirebirdxx
And would a 3 cubic ft box ported be right for them? They are going in a 2000 firebird so i dont have a lot of room to play with?
korey_hofer
they will get peaky, I did run them in 3ft but they wanted a bigger box previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. xx2kfirebirdxx
I can prolly go with a 3.5^3 box of 4 if i lay my back seat down. Would the bigger box help them get quite noticably louder?
hdorre
For only 2500 rms, id choose the DCs. If you get 3500+wrms, then it would be time for the AQs On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
