alpinePounding Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 i have 2 Alpine type x in a slot ported box and was thinking about inverting them. is inverting louder or what does it do for you. is there any special wiring diagrams?

Unless the woofer is damaged, the bass should drown out any mechanical noise.
