HPI_Savage25 Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 I have a Fusion 3000.1 amp that I got for free and was told that it is blown. Db-R quoted me around $175 to get it fixed. Wondering if it is worth the costs to get it fixed or not? Here is a link to the amp: http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/north-and-south-america/car-audio-1/amplifiers-7/ppam300010-50-product.aspx Thanks! Breaking in a sub is like breaking in your girl before you pound her....

TeamHT Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 no, it is no worth it. if i recall...fusion is sold at bestbuy and was supposed to replace the Dual brand. but it doing the RMS of 1500 is kind of hard to believe...but for arguments sake you send it in, pay for shipping to and back and then $175 to get a 1500 watt amp. you can buy an AP1500 new for cheaper than that. i say, scrap it. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
