I was looking at the dimensions of the batteries and it seems that they are all too large to fit in the stock location. Am I missing something or is it a must to relocate the battery box in these trucks? btw, I was wanting to put in a KHC 1800 or 2000.

The 1800 is about 1 inch longer and 1 inch taller than your factory battery.You can lay the kinetik on its side if need be (if the truck can accommodate it)

jjbsk8r Posted June 8, 2011 Author Report Posted June 8, 2011 So for anyone interested. I got the 1800 and it fits pretty well. I built a new battery tray because without one in the battery rubbed on the horn bracket pretty bad. With a battery tray that fits in the stock location but is just flat all the way across and sloped down a little in the front is a perfect fit.
