Hello everyone over there!

*********

This post in a work in progress. Beeing updated as soon as I can!

Please,no hating,I'm Norwegian, and my english is'nt that good :/

*********

Been reading on this site and watching all of Steve's vids on YouTube,

and really love it! So,I registered here so I can show you some of the

things that is going on in my garage here in Norway!

Right now,all work on my cars is stopped due to an empty bank account :P

Well,this is my 1977 Chevrolet Caprice Classic;

It has a stock CSB350 and a TH350 tranny.

It still got most of it's original innterior, and some of the paint is altso the original.

I have'nt got the full history on it yet,but I've been told that there have been about 10 owners on it,

and it was bought new here in Norway in Januray 1977.

...still digging info about it...

Bought it for 25,000 NOK 3years ago,and I havent done much on it yet. Just the regular, new tires, oil, filters and so on.

The first pic is what it looked like 2days ago. It came about 5-10cm more snow

after that pic was taken.

(Innterior images coming soon...)

I dont have any good sound system in the Caprice yet,but its coming...

Right now i have a prebuildt GAS 2x12" (2x1000w + GAS 2x1000w amp)box in the trunk and

2 6x9 Blaupunkt (300w) in rear. No speakers in front.

An Audiovox CD/DVD/USB player.(More info coming!)

Nothing much, but it gives an okay sound when Im cruising around in the summer :)

And,here's my 1993 Chevrolet Blazer S10 Sport;

A really nice SUV in the Norwegian winter! :D

The 4x4 really helps a lot!

This car is probably altso sold new i Norway some time in 1993, since it has the "Euro SPEC" 4,3l TBI V6 with about 140HP.

The previous owner changed the tranny,so now i have a 4L80E,and its good! (and expensive :P)

The previous owner altso changed te exhaust system; Headders, custom 2,5" pipes and an Apple Racing muffler. It sounds allmost like a V8 when I'm pulling away :D

I have new ported CylHeads, new inntake, new cam and a new carb that is going on now in a few days.

Some pic's. I had 31" swampers on it,but due to Norwegian laws,

the police demanded that I changed to the original wheels.

They altso wanted me to remove the 3" bodylift, but Im working on

gettings that approved (Need TÜV papers).

(Innterior images coming soon...)

The Blazer dont have any soundsystem any more because some punks

broke into it and stole everything! Even the some spare change that was under the drivers seat!

Well, there WAS a good old Blaupunkt CD player there. (4x40w + lowpass),

2x5" (50w?)GAS in front,2 6x9" 300w Blaupunkt in the rear and a box with 2x10" (2x800w)GAS. GAS 2x1000 amp + GAS 4x200w amp.

Check out my website for some pics of my 2 cars, and some meetings I've been to.

The site is only in Norwegian right now,but I'm working on an US/ENG ver and its available in about a month or so.

Mabye you can use the Google Translator to view the site?

Edit: Just checked my site with Google Translate, and it did NOT look good! Many things came out wrooong!

Anyways,see you later!

Okay... Lets talk about the '93 Blazer first...

It needs a little work and a coat of paint...and more :P

Some of my plans for this car:

Get some bodywork done.

New paint! (2tone,black/silver)

New 33" wheels (Mud/swamper)

New side windows in the back.

Put in a backseat (only 2 seats in front now)

Put in some woffers in the back. (Need some storage space,so nothing big,but still powerfull.)

New Mids/Highs front/back.

Im considering putting on some bodyparts from a GMC Cyclone, but not sure yet.

Just have to see how much its gonna cost first. :P

I'm updating this post later :)

And,my then we have my Caprice :)

I've allways dreamed about having a Caprice in my driveway, and now I have one :D

Well,it needs a LOT of work, and its going to take a LOT of time...

Since its been in norway since '77,and been used in wintertime. Here in Norway,we use a lot of salt,

and as we all know,it makes our cars rust.

The frame needs some work. It looks okay, but Im not sure of the condition,so sandblasting and paint.

The body needs a lot of work. Full tear down and sandblast before fixing so I can see everything.

Not quite sure of colors here yet. Mabye Orange/Black?

The innterior looks pretty nice, and Im thinking of keeping it pretty original. Just changing colors to match the outside.

Complete new wiring! It looks like crap now.

Im not quite sure of the mileage,so a full rebuild of the TH350 tranny and the CSB350 engine.

New custom 2,5" dual exhaust.

Full FBSS AirRide. (Hydros not allowed in Norway! :( )

When it comes to audio in this car, only money it the limit.

I'm thinking of 4 woffers in the trunk,4 6x9 + tweeters in rear, atleast 4mids + 2 highs in front.

Not decided what brand yet,but Im thinking of MTX og GAS.

More updates are coming soon!

nice cars bro i love builds in old cars and those blazers are sweet

Thank for the feedback man!

I'm all about older cars, since they seem to start and rund in ANY weather we have here in Norway.

My GF's 2006 Renault (some diesel shit) didnt start, and it was only -23Celcius. The Blazer started right away!

I wantes a Blazer K5,but needed a 4x4 fast,so I ended up with this one.

Got pleny of space in both cars for speakers and amps.

Btw,my Blazer is for sale :P

  • 5 months later...

Aaaalrighty then!

Its been a long time since my last visit.

Not much has beed done here since last time....

Again someone broke into one of my cars. This time the Caprice, and the cleaned out my stereo, a ton of cd's and a can of soda. >:|

So,there I was, without my right rear window and no music... Found a guy who had a rear door, and he gladly sold me the window

for a reasonable price. And a good friend of mine sold me an old system for a couple of bucks.

"New" system:

(1) GAS 500w 1ch

(1) Fence Audio 150w 2ch

(2) Blaupunkt 6x9 150w

(1) GAS ported enclosure with 2x 12"GAS 600w

And i bougt a new AudioVox headunit since i just loved the one that got stolen.

Allmost the same setup as I had earlier, but not nearly the same sound :(

Well, after all this,I thought that the "dark times" was past, but no :P

My radiator broke, and i have a leakage somewhere in the brakesystem. So,Im just wondering if I just should park it in the garage and start working on it...

But,4.July isnt far away, and here in Norway, thats a big day for amcar enthusiasts. Thousands gather here and there to celebrate.

I think ill just fix my radiator and find that leakage so it runs until that day. After that im parking it and starting on the hard part...

Detailed pics will come after 4.July :P
