Im gonna run a SAZ-2500 @ 1ohm and i plan on have a D3100 with big 3 in 4/0 and 2 runs (1+,1-) in 4/0. Yes you could use the D1200 under the hood, but I would suggest getting the metal case for it to help keep the heat away from the battery. That combo should work fine for you.
