I have a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D which has a fuse rating of 160a. The amp kit comes with a 150a... How big of a deal is this? Check out my first ever aftermarket purchase!
crunkjuice1 Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 From what was hammered into my brain is the fuse protects the power wire, and I would rather it blow sooner than later if it ever does. I think your good.

You just remove the cover and literally just replace the fuse. crunkjuice1 Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 and its good to remove it while hooking up the amp and double checking your power and ground connections then put the fuse in. when messing with your connections always take fuse out first before disconnecting anything and its the last thing you put in after messing with wires.
