MrSoHeavySPL Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 Ok here we go, Ive got two 2ohm dvc koles, getting a new amp, but have stock electrical, cant decide between Hifonics BRZ1200.1D or AP15001D, not asking which is better, want opinions on which YOU would get, being stock electrical, Im thinking Hifonics, cause hopefully it would draw less current, what do you think? Also, whats the most watts you would feel comfortable running on stock 130 amp alt and stock 1000 cranking amp battery. hdorre Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 I'd choose the AP. Hifonics amps are inefficient, so I'm assuming the AP is more. Also, the Hifonics loses 18% of its power per volt for voltage drop.
