cougarxc2 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Hey guys, I just recently picked up a used 05 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab. And it's obvious, the factory radio just isn't going to cut it for long. I don't know too much about mid's and highs, so I guess I'll let the experienced users take a whack at it. I've got about 800-1k to spend when I sell the old system out of my old car. So, assuming I have that money, what do you guys think would be the best set for me? I'm looking to just keep 4 speakers in the doors. I would like above average sound quality, but I don't need absolute reference quality. My local car audio place only recommends JL. I know there are many other options out there, and I just wanted to know if you all could help me out.. Thanks for the help guys!
