guimond47 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Hey, im about to get 4 Alpine type R's 12" and i want to build a sub box SPL for behind my jeep grand cherokee. soo it is a hatch back. i was thinking 4 subs on top and port facing the hatch. sound right? the only downside to all of this that i need to know is how big does my port need to be and how long. i listen to rap/hiphop. i love lows and mid-highs. i want it to hit really good. right now my lows suck. its like free air. soo i want my next box to be built right. let me know on how i should do it guys. please let me know i really need advice. thanks. steph:) Orion 2500D , 2-10" alpine type X. They are the complete opposite, unless your car peaks low. Gatorcity Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Hdorre is correct...but from my understanding jeeps like to get loud, so I bet if you built an enclosure and tune it around 34-38 hz you might be able to accomplish what you want comic on tv: I got a concussion from playing t-ball when i was younger, we dont really have time to go into that! . . . . 15 seconds pass . . . . . my girl: no one pitches to you in t-ball, do they???
