SQMonte Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Are you talking about replacing your starting battery for this amp or getting a 2nd battery for the audio system only? I used to run that amp in my car on stock electrical and didn't have any problems with it or voltage drop and I only used 2ga. wire. I did replace my starting battery but that was because it needed to be replaced, not just because I thought it was needed to run that amp. If you're getting an extra battery, just make sure it's a sealed, non-spillable one. M80 Posted January 4, 2011 Author Report Posted January 4, 2011 I was probably just gonna replace my starting battery with a nice xs power but since u ran it fine stock, ill probably try it out and monitor the voltage. Thanks man. Quote
