MACnonsence6 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 been looking at them and they look like a beast. im looking for some insane 12 to do a single 12 set up in trunk facing cabin with the subwoofer sealed off from the trunk. wondering what you guys think of the xxx. is it worth the money. i love how it doesnt need a huge box wich works perfect for my aplication I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Ive got 2 of them in my car right now, ive built a few boxes for them and they dont seem to get loud on the bass over about 45hz, if you want to kill the lows they are a great sub to have. i got one used from a guy and the told me the same thing about his, but i just thought it was his boxes.
