TrippiN Posted September 1, 2007 Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 (edited) Ok im in-experienced in the whole "lift" department. I have a: 1999 Ford F150 EXT, 4.2L v6, rwd... Im looking for something thats like in the 3-5" range... I was orginally shooting for a drop on the 22 w/ some bags, but due to me moving in october i dont think that would be the smartest thing to do, as i am moving to vermont. anyways, im all for lifts, just was planning a drop for so long. Anyways i just need to know what i will need to lift this sucker that wont kill my pockets. Im not planning no off-roading as its not 4x4 anyways, its for clearance issues due to me not wanting a vehicle so low when we get all the salt on the roads and stuff. Even at stock height my truck sits so damn low in the front. dont help much with the bumper im making for it, got like 3" off the ground. and i dont want to just get a leveling kit, i know the f150s sag like 2" lower in the front stock, or something like that. anyways, i been browsing but its not easy finding anything that is made specifically for a 2wd for my year range. I find a bunch of stuff for the 04-07's but ya.. anyways Figured the more knowleged ones can point me in the right direction...its probly easier to find then im making it for myself, but when you dont know what to look for, kinda hard to find it sometimes.. anyways ty for your time.
