Audio-Concepts
Got some goodies! Gonna do some milling when I get the time. So now when I get my big underhood battery I will be making some nice terminals, as well as distribution blocks for the positive and negative runs in the back for the mono and my front stage amps. Robert8252
I would do the pillars. The stock location is too close and fires into the dash too much on the drivers side. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
Audio-Concepts
So I should stay with building on the stock location? I was thinking of angling more towards the window, keeping them slightly off axis. Ignore this I read something wrong, just woke up! Audio-Concepts
Also, I just bought the last amp for my front stage. So I will now have a Linear Power 1002 on my doors, and a Linear Power 302 for the Blues BDT-25 tweeters. Now to research on some high quality EQ's but without breaking the bank. Audio-Concepts
Here are some pics of my tweeter location dilemma! The first pic is the drivers side and second is the passenger side. As you can see the pillars are behind the curve of the dash, but the location of the factory pods are right in the corner of the door panel to door frame. The tweeters I am using can either work on axis or off axis so my imaging is about which, sounds the best, but according to Ray @ TIPS, the will be pretty equal. So if anyone has some input on which location would be best, that would be great. I am open to any options and will build accordingly. I am not one of those "I dont care what you say I am doing it my way" type of people. I have hopes of doing some light competition in SQ/SQL, so proper staging and imaging is a must. I know what would look best, but I want it to sound the best! So any help, advise, theory would help greatly!!
