Research and knowledge are one of the best things to have when even doing a small install, or you are going to be throwing money out the window with fried gear. What kind of batteries do you currently have? Having two batteries doesnt do too much good when they are walmart brand. As for the amp I wouldnt really run more then rated if you have a lack of experience with installing/setting up gear. I'd probably put a dc 3.5k as chode said at 2 ohms and up your electircal. Or an AQ 1200 on each coil @ 1 ohm.
