Why do you need to pull the box out? i didnt want to see my wing nuts so i built it facing my amp racks thinking i would slide the box in and out like i was doing with my other subs but i didnt really think it over when i loaded 4x lvl 5 18s in there. well i could wire up to 2 ohm at the amp relatively easy but then i couldnt slam the shit out of it if i wanted to. so back to my question. will it hurt if i ran .5 at low volume? as for the OP these questions contain your quest to find an amp. if it wont hurt anything why not run at .5? im running stock electrical to a 11k2d on a decent battery bank.
