Should all my grounds (front bat, alt, rear bat, rear amp) be bolted to the "FRAME" or the inner body. To make this more understandable for my front battery ground i just mounted right next to the stock ground just with 1/0 guage. Same with the rear batt i just riped a little carpet up and grounded. should i actually drill a hole and go to the frame or would that not be worth my time? Also my rear amp is grouned to my rear batt neg post.

dereileak Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 either one will work, if you want the best then do both, I made a 2.5 inch hole in my floor, not hard, and went right to the frame rail that goes to the front of my van, and I only loose .04 volts, thats really good, but if you have a second battery in the back it doesnt hurt to have a second run from the front battery to the back for the neg. Ok so should i keep my ground that runs to the body now and just add another one to the frame, or remove the one now and just run it to the frame. I will also run the neg on front to the neg on back. One more quick question. Were would you guys run 2 runs of 0/1 guage to the back in a small as jeep. Under the carpet in the center or any better ideas?
