Guest Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 i dont buy prebuilt boxes only had one and it was a birthday gift,and i got a dumb question what do you mean by if you want those speakers to shine, get a design from someone here like sanitarium or decaf??? by "shine" i mean to perform at or near their best capabilities.
robbie Posted January 22, 2011 Author Report Posted January 22, 2011 ok??? lol anyways now that im focused on systems and not a bunch of other stuff sorry if i pi$$ed anyone off my goal is to be loud and still have good SQ i previously had 2 12's seald box with 400watt mono-block (All mtx) then it got stolen.it was decent but not loud enough but had good SQ now with krannys setup that he posted Skar audio vvx-12, same designer from sundown, get the d2 version if you are getting 1. if you are getting 2, get the D4 http://www.skaraudio...p/products.html for one subwoofer http://www.caraudiod...01d-p-3465.html for two subwoofers http://www.caraudiod...01d-p-1452.html wiring kit for either amp http://www.knukoncep...?prodID=KOL-AK4 if i go this route ill get 2 skar audio vvx-D4 12's,Audiopipe AP15001D 1500W Mono Class D Amp w/Remote Bass Control,and build a ported box. Guest Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html that shows the box when u put in all the measurement that RE calc isnt that good. its wrong some of the time from what people have stated. use the one Torres made (hes a member on here and you can find the program in the Enclosures section), its practically one of the best free box designing tools released

Your asking for SO MANY different things right now and your just not going to get every bit of each thing you want. Your going to have to sacrifice A LOT off each section of your request or just sit back, realize that you have a low budget and rethink what you want.
