Quote 2001 chevy cavalier Rebuild in progress what happens when your CD player skips and you accidentally drop a 22 hz sine bomb at an unholy volume on 7-8 year old subs? Mechanical failure floppy sub knockage on at least 2. well...as i see the level 6 is compared to a lamborghini.....but a corvette? i was thinking more like a chevy volt. its cute and new and "hip", but i would just rather stick my dick in a blender......... tlee2
I've heard of bad things happening. Like coils turning over. Huh? Turning over? When you guys say 'warm up' you know that the surround and spider aren't going to gain much heat. Only a very minor amount from friction in the material. Otherwise, you'd have to thrash the heck out of the coil to warm up the whole sub, and if you do that, you've been playing it loud anyway. Unless you mean something else? Warm up from the heat in the car from the heater playing the sub will just loosin it up a bit Quote 6 Sundown X 15s 2 Sundown NS1 V2s C Pillar 4th order Bagged Suburban on 24s http://youtube.com/tlee333

So a better way for everyone to word their sentences would be: "have the heater on for a bit until the car has warmed up, until then, don't play the subs to loud" Instead of: "Just warm them up by playing them at lower volume for a bit" See what I mean?
