First off, if I put 300w through to subs, do they both see 300 or 150 a piece?

And also, why is that when I doubled my wattage, there was no noticeable difference in loudness?

What kinda subs? What are they wired at? and what amp ?

So you have 2 different subs, what impedance are they wired at? 2 ohm? 1 ohm?

Btw thats a 4 channel amp man, you need a mono block . But to answer your question, each sub would see 150rms, depending on your electrical.

Well the rear channels are bridged to the subs in parallel and the front channel is on my rear 6x9s. Most of my system was gifts (except the DS12). I tried sticking to one sub, but it, to me, sounded one sided.

Well, if it's playing bass frequencies, it's impossible for the human ear to distinguish it's direction, barring of course you had the sub placed incorrectly... maybe give some detail about that? second, you should always try to have matching subwoofers, each will act slightly differently, betweend diff brands/impedance/designs etc. and any, even minor differences can cause destructive interference, lowering sound quality and loudness, just for future reference.
