nCOMP1337
You may be able to try this If you know how to, get the hdd out and hook it up to a computer with an older bios that doesnt support the drive-lock (its a new feature on newer computers) since its not available on an older bios, you may be able to get around it and at least access the hdd, if this happens you can probably get a new os installed on it which would get rid of all current settings on the hdd, or so it should There is a cd I use for various tools which is called Ultimate Boot CD http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ It should have a program called something like password tool 1.1, which can apparently unlock harddrives, i have never come across a locked hd so i havent tried this, use this at own risk

ChampN252
I know there is some kinda CD you can make that can get pass that. I wish I paid attention in class now It might be that^^^ I'm mis-understanding. Can you get on it at all? Is the BIOS locked or user accounts? Even if the admin account is locked, that's a way in. I've never seen a pc ask for a password before it boots. Hell, I'm sure you've seen more shit than me too. Rebel4055
Yup, that password is set in the bios, sometimes it could be 0000. Well, the BIOS password is set in the bios, it locks access period, then the windows password hits you if there is one lol. Edited January 28, 2011 by Rebel4055 Quote Rest In Peace mother.
