CynicLos
finally had some more time to work on the box and had homeboy drop by with the cam. i've killd some parts on the trunk to reduce unwanted noise/rattles and crap, also fixed some very small (yet, annoying) water leaks in the trunk. freakin water was leakin in trough the rear lights and this plastic by the big rear window, now its water proof ! here are some pics so far of the stuff. ill try gettin better pics later. doing a box like this is harder then what i had thought.. unless theres an easier way of doing it things still to be done: finish double sub-mounting face, glue/screw the top, put in the port walls, brace parts of the box, fiberglass spare tire well, fiberglass all interior of box, and MUST atleast paint the front of the box black. i plan on later fiberglassin the front/side of the box so all air will go foward into the passangers and finish things with carpeting the box comments welcomed as always *EDIT* forgot to mention, i had to remove those " spring " bars that keep the trunk open which took me around 3 hrs to take them off! now it feels like its 10 times heavier x_x if u pay close attention to one of the pics, u can see whats holding the trunk opend for me '02 Jetta (1) Fi Btl 18 Inch Sub Big box FTW!
