toadking90 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 ok i understand everything enough since i have read it 4 bazillion times. but my problem is do i have to use the existing ground off the engine block? on my truck its on the bottom side and i dont have a floor jack and since i have lowered my truck when i crawl underneath it my face is like 2 inches from the control arms... no room to even see anything. but i found tonight that there is a bolt that is connected to my headers thats connected to i am guessing the arms that a shop would use to pull the engine out with. and it has an extra bolt on the end of that. could i use that instead of looking for something else? or should i not considering it is my headers and that bolt may get real nice and hot in the summer? if so then i guess i will just use my little piston jack and use some jack stands and pray i come back to say it worked. i hate using stupid piston jacks...
