from the front, they are the same radio but i got one on ebay to play with and not be scared to dig in to it.

radio from my old tundra is what i will use.

Eclipse avn726e. Flash based nav, dvd, usb, built in bluetooth, ipod. etc

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

sounds like quite a project, what do you have in mind? making a Mdf dash piece and glassing it in is the was ive always done it

ouchy, that looks like quite a project right there, move the whole board if possible then just disable the screen? just enough to fit that h/u in there, or why not use a single din? might be easier to work with

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?

Moving the board is my plan. but i will have to move 6 buttons, the lcd, and a small ribbon cable. Honestly that would be simple. And there is no point for me to use a Single DIN if i going to do this im going all the way

alot easier to start with the bezel and controls from a model that came with factory navi..
