6 400rms subs.. need an amp!

Recommended Posts

So my new build is underway.. 6 10" Kicker CVR, only reason I went kicker is cause I get em brand new 52$ per sub. I'm needing an amp that does ~2400. Budget, keep max around 300. Kinda hard lol.

Pics of subs?

Are they the cheap silver cone?

For $55 shipped you can get the 700w rms d4 VVME RD-12's

Spend that $300 on something better. Seriously.

Here are the VVME's

I have one and I am very satisfied.

Maybe with no rise and a 14v system youll get rated out of it

Id say expect more like 1700rms mild clipping

So, assuming he has the electrical to provide 14v at all times, would it do more than 1700 clean?

cant assume much when op is doing a budget build

doubt he looked into a high output alt and hefty batt to keep voltage above 14v full tilt on "2k"

that amp can and would do its power cleanly at high charging voltage

but why not buy a used aq2200 or nendo 2k that will do the SAME power @ 12.x volts and not have to worry about 900 dollars worth of electrical upgrades for a current hungry amp

their is a guy selling 2 aq2200ds for like 250 shipped each on caco
