Ricky Reboot Dean
So I have been into sound systems for a long time and I have got a decent home system right now. I am using a Kenwood KR-6600 amp. It has a lot of power and has killed a 12" car sub rated at 500 watts. The towers I am using are Vivid TX-440 series with the 10" drivers in them swapped out to Calrion 10" subs. If you think there is anything else I should add tell me. I have a set of 12" Fisher speakers which need new mids and highs and I have those on the way. If you think there is something else I can add tell me. I know I need some actual subs. SIDE SHOW
What are you asking? did you change the crossovers when you swapped the 10"drivers for subs?
Ricky Reboot Dean
What are you asking? did you change the crossovers when you swapped the 10"drivers for subs? No I did not. I am just wondering people thought and if they have an input on what else I should add. I am thinking of taking out the passive and adding another 10". SIDE SHOW
i'd suggest you do some research on home audio setups..... also look up some specs of your amp they are running from. you cant just keep adding speakers to the output of an amp.... it will kill your amp and or your speakers too. stop what you are doing and take some time and write what your actually trying to achive

The amp is rated 4 ohms to 16 ohms. Current setting on the newest setup is 6 ohms a channel at roughly 500 watts. A set of Rockford Fosgate punch P2 10" on a car amp wired up with a computer power supply (Pushing 13 volts) on about 500 watts wired at 2 ohms each. Thing bumps some bass. It its harder then my friends Alpine 12".

Ricky Reboot Dean
if your goal is to make noise you've accomplished that... Cousin Itt is that you? What do you mean noise? The quality on this is better then my old home theater system. On as for the "cousin it" reference, this pic is old. I haven't updated it yet. Haven't wanted too.
