wish they woulda made POWER hx2 18's now that woulda made it even more of a lil beast. i love my power hx2 15 wish i could find recones at decent price or atleast a coil to go with the cone i found. my 15 has a blown coil but even one leggin it in a small box im still louder then most every one i know with 2 12's

u got major voltage drop? that would cause it to shut off when the bass hits

psi can do it for you for sure. i know cause i emailed them about a recone for my power hx2 15. recone with stiffer suspension and upgraded flatwound coil that will handle 2000wrms instead of the stock 1000wrms was $175 plus i had to ship them my sub if you got the cash for all that its guarenteed. i hear there sofparts are kinda wack but thats just hear say. also if u wanna shoot me an email at [email protected] ill give u a guys email addy from another forum that has hx2 recones and he has the team rf recones that fit the hx2 and handle more power and hes alot cheaper and u aint gotta ship the monsters nowhere he will send u the recones. or if u can track down forevrbumpn's email he does damn good custom builds and has expierience with the hx2's

space each cut 1/8th of a inch apart. as for how deep to cut into the mdf leave about the thickness of a quarter left after cuts. also i've only tried it on scraps just to see if i could do it and its as easy as it looks in the vid i posted a link to. dont go trying it your first time on the wood u plan to use for your box use scraps till u figure it out
