teknikalitch Posted March 12, 2009 Author Report Posted March 12, 2009 well my 93 coupe got rear ended and the insurance company totaled it out... they gave me a whopping 1400 bucks!! the bastards. anyway i got a new one... its a 92 sedan 5 speed. on a fresh engine. got all my gear out of the black one so im waiting on some warm weather to cram it all in this one. already got the 170 amp alt in. swapped out the headlights to the blackhoused ones and threw in my 8k HIDs and of course got the alpine x-001 and the ipod in. on to the pics... these were taken the night before the 17 year old girl texting on her cell phone decided to slam into the car behind me pushing him into me... all cleaned up for a friday night on the town... the new 92 sedan... 8k HID Started hand polishing the valve cover already now this car is going to stay as close to JDM as possible... no mirrors... no parking bench on the trunk... none of that shit... only thing is the wheels split spoke 5 stars dipped in chrome. some coilovers and paint and its done. i dont really want to go cutting into it because its too clean to do that... so what benefit would i have porting through the rear deck as opposed to porting forward with the sub? if none then its getting ported forward and sealed off... 1992 Honda Accord LX Head Unit: Alpine X-001 Mids/Highs Front: Rockford Fosgate P1652-S Components Mids/Highs Rear: Rockford Fosgate P1653 3-Ways Mids/Highs Amp: Hifonics Zxi6410 Sub: Fi 15" BTL With HiXmCoil Option Sub Amp: Hifonics Bxi2008D Enclosure: 5.2Cubes Gross Tuned at 31Hz Wiring: One Run Of 0g Alternator: Load Boss 170amp

But What were the specs on your 1st box (H,W,D) I want to build a box for a 15" q in the future and I want to have the biggest box possible but it needs to go through the trunk (obviously) I don't want to cut my car up. And James if you have any recommendations on a box, Be sure to but in! Thanks guys, and of course this is going in a 90 accord so it's the same trunk. if i remember right external dems are about 16 high with the double baffle. 24 deep, and 33 wide... my suggestion is to make it about an inch to an inch and a half narrower so it will push up inbetween the strut mounts... miscalculation on my part.... it ended up being 5 cubes before sub and port displacement... it wangs pretty damn good. i have seen faint window movement on the store doors waiting for my girl to come out... made me do a little jig in my seat because i didnt have it hardly half way up....
