Well i got my tahoe a few weeks ago and said i was going for rims before system....that didnt last lol....so i picked up a re mt 18", just ordered a pioneer premier DEH-P690UB, and im getting a modded us amps 2000x next week and will probably start the box this weekend. Ive been working 7 10's for the past 3 weeks so if it keeps up more stuff to come B) question on the box though, im using the re calculator and have it 46 wide, 24 high, 22 deep, 9 cubes tuned to 33 htz....but it says 157 for the port....that sounds like to much....

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

9 cubes...

use 12-16sq in of port per cft you have.

12(in^2) x 9 (cft)=108 (in^2)

16(in^2) x 9 (cft)=144 (in^2)

So anything between 108(in^2) and 144 (in^2) would work.

157in^2 does seem a bit high.

~2cents.
