mr.p Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 we tried to get some people to show last time, in fremont, ca, just get some people from the bay over there to hangout check each others shit out and what not. This was before i was on smd i was over at ca.com, one of the members, jason, is trying to get it going again with more people this time as 90% flaked and there was only like 6 people that showed. No serious spl stuff but its just a way of trying to get some local peeps together, i ended up trouble shooting some electrical issues and found a bad amp. In return a guy helped my dynamat my doors and install some door speakers, its a nice way to make some friends into the same stuff you are. Anyways anybody is welcome to come, its; february 1st, sunday. same place, ohlone campus off chrerry. go west on mission, left on cherry. right into ohlone. meeting in the back right. I have an oscilloscope and id be willing to check everyones rca's and see if your clipping or not, hopefully noobtastic, will be there as hes more knowledgeable in that department. If you have a termlab you could bring it and let people see where they meter and peak at that would be nice. i have a nice camcorder there were pictures and videos what not last time, maybe you can get some flex videos without having just you and your car, get some more scenery and a few people in the picture too Just a friendly get together and it gives more knowledgeable people an opportunity to shed some light on other peoples projects this is actually a real nice secluded place granted theres no sunday events going on at the university. Forevrbumpn Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Damn, where in Fremont, I was born and raised there till I was like 20 I live in Sac now though I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
