SPL KID Posted February 7, 2010 Report Share Posted February 7, 2010 This is my 1988 CRX I bought it painted this way. It's unique and I like it. It's a automatic and came with a D16A6 from a SI CRX. It also had a poorly relocated battery. 8 gauge wire was run from the front to the rear. and a improperly grounded ground wire in the rear 8 gauge also. The car had sat for a year before i picked it up. Unbaleivable it had had some pretty nice audio equipment in it at one time. it was said to probably have been a trailer queen. So here is a list of the mods and upgrades I have done so far. Alpine headunit Stock rear 6.5's Hertz DCX 165 in the front stock electrical for now 4 gauge relocation run replacing the 8 gauge Mini me swap D16Z6 top end onto D16A6 bottom end SOHC Cam gear 92 Accord AC Heat control swap Group 31 battery in the rear 0 gauge on 200 amp circuit breaker Audiopipe AP3001D DD 2515 ported high output spec box more to come of course but onto the pics! Quote NSPL 2001 Trunk 251-500 world champion. 2009 2nd place 0-1800 147.9 under 1800 watts. 2011 0-3601 Trunk Champion. BAMF 5500D on a 12 inch type R Now got a AP3001D powering the 2515 at 4 ohm Just Nasty! Been had these for a while but since I routered my hand no pure SPL enclosures just yet. $45 group 31 FTW no problem starting this honda!
