whats wrong with 5.0s? lol. maybe ones with the flowmasters sound like crap but not every one. take the sound of my mustang over any tuner with the fart can muffler any day.

thanks. but ya really it was so much different than I thought it would be. I ordered them and they should be here withen a 2-3 weeks. at first the order said 2-3 business days then went to 2-3 weeks.

I get to keep my license and no fines, just 86 hours of community service... I will buy those and a rockford 12 in t1 tonight

Ill try to get them soon but tomarrow I'm going to court and possibly losing my license and up to a $600 ticket. if that goes better than I think I will buy them soon and let you know I like my amp because its 4 channel and and on 2 of the channels I'm running 2 speakers. I have it run to my 2 kicker 3.5 in speakers and 6.5s in the front and my 5/7s in the rear. dont know if thats a good idea because different ohm loads on different channels. any idea?

I'm looking for something thats somewhat cheep, midbass and sound decent. I'm sure almost anything will be better than my polk dbs I'm running now also with before I got these I was thinking of trying to make enclosures for the speakers to see if it kicked up the midbass a little but I doubt enough for me not to want to change. any thoughts? Whats your opinion on these and if you have a better idea of something else close to this price range please let me know.

certain cars have different needs. like for some reason in my 89 mustang I'm not supposed to use platinum plugs. didnt understand the explaination enough to explain it here. check the manufacture specs or check some forums of people that have the same car as you. most likely it wont matter but its nice to check and know.

I dont have a router and dont even know where I would find a jasper jig. I dont want to buy one because Its not like I'm making boxes 24/7 I've only made 5 boxes withen the last 3 years. I understand half of what you were saying about doing with the 1in by 10 in piece of wood but dont understand completly about how to actually cut the cutting it. when you cut it you drill a hole and stick the blade in it and follow your hole that is moving around the box without actually hitting the piece your moving right? thanks for your responses

hey guys. I know there are special circle jigs for making holes for subs but can anyone think of something I can do or make to be more accurate than using a regular jigsaw(I'm horrible with jigsaws) or get a circle jig? I know there are probably things I can use or do that are better and easier than a jigsaw but dont know what to use? I used a jigsaw and a dremel to make sub holes that were somewhat sealed. still had to use something to make it completly sealed. I'm planning on making a new sub box soon for my hx2s and would like to make a hole that is actually sealed and circular rather than a big circle with the outline of a t and still have it leak lol. thanks in advance for any advice or ideas.

flair at the port inside or outside, or both? also how can I flair this? heat up the abs and find something round to flair it out? would filling the box with polyfill help at all? I know thats supposed to help on sealed boxes but I dont know about ported boxes.

would stuffing the box possibly help with that? I've done it on sealed boxes but don't know if it would help or even can be done in a ported box.

I feel you man, going in a week for my court date for doing 86 in a 55 and violation of provisional license because of having someone in the car with me because he was 3 weeks to young to be in the car with me. I've heard I'm losing my license, going to juvie, $800 ticket, community service... certain california laws are bullshit just to bring in money to the people who already have more than they know what to do with. also a few friends in similar situations just got a rescheduled court dates and nothing else.

Which part? using the abs or the size of the port? if its because of it being abs is there anyway I can get rid of some of the port noise? like flair it or something..?

I used a peice of 4 in abs as an aero port its 4 in by 10.5 in long.

ya I got a hole bunch of port noise on certain notes. other notes their fine. how can I fix this somewhat easily? I made the port sticking in and out of the box a little bit so there would be enough room in the back but dont really understand why its making the port noise? any help is appreciated.
