some time it does matter not saying it's not cool. there are ways to set up a car for show most of you know if all you got is junk it not going to fly. as a perfect car the system.the one i am working on has 3 different brands mid/ higs amps head units and subs mite all be different all 6 mids high are the same as subs the amps and hu are different brands but the amps are all the same brand. your right it a pain getting it all have not decided on wire and rca's yet. still trying to find every thing. now for spl it what ever you want. of coures you not going to show off to many spl systems. most of all with cement in the doors

i found some 4 ga batt ring terminals for 5 bucks on millionbuy.com 10 or 15 4 ga terminals for 5 bucks. for some thing made by a company that to me remind me of pyle. any ways i think best buy and circuit city wanted 5 bucks for 2 of them made buy a better company like rockford fosgate and the ones i got work fine buy the off brand company. of course there all black boots but who cares as long as your system is not a mutt system. with every thing different brands like 4x6 pionners 5-1/2 sonys and 1 10 fostgate p1 over powered buy a sony 12 if your does not look like this you should be fine.

you do not bride these. run it off one one plus one minus i use the far left plus and far left minus and it does not hit loud so i switch them to the right plus and right minus if you catch what i am saying plus and minus go in pairs just paly with it it more then likely the problem

mite4 be a thermal issue were the thermal protect is tripping i have done this by criss crossing the wires because of a screw screwed threw them so check every were speaker wire is ran too

ya the reg ken woods are not that great but the excelons are better thats what i am running it the x10d. have you checked the remote turn on aka blue wire does it do it during a bass note or wile driving could be it hanging by a thread. that or the rca are going bad

how much ya spending? hifonics can be found for around 200 but i like the sound quality that come out of the kenwood excelon compared to the power acoustic i got. and the excelon will run about 250-270 depending were you go places like. woferetc.com millionnuy.com and onlinecarstereo.com etc.. start shopping around

i say it will handle it temporarily. amps chips are like a water spigot the less resistance you have he more that flows and the higher the less the water flows. if you got to much flowing it will burn up the chips. but it will handle it temporarily

to each his own i attend the school at this link auto body it does help out most of all if you never painted. i am about to drop out of the program. i did 2 year of welding in high school and work on my own cars every day and attending this class get very repetitive. and put it this way the only place your going to be here in michigan is at the bottom. there are no jobs for auto mechanics or body men your better off attending school for accounting or business or engineering and attend there part time. like i did i got a two year degree and still at the bottom. but your pay will be better if you go there it how much more you know. i would say check out this school at the link below but there is a macro program that is the transfer agreement to other schools like eastren and u of m dearborn etc... every community college has a transfer program to transfer to a major college or save money by attending the small school and transferring to the big school. etc. thing is all the stuuf they teach in these classes i can do at home liker put a flow master exhaust on my car. http://www.wccnet.edu/academicinfo/credito...C&year=2005 http://www.wccnet.edu/academicinfo/credito...php?code=CTMST1 http://www.wccnet.edu/academicinfo/credito...php?code=CVMST2
