it is very rare for retailers to sell laptop video cards too. and video card is not always the size of memory. its on the GPU itself and the speed of memory. video card manufacters put large sizes of memories on entry level video cards just to trick consumers that it is fast. but the truth is, like the 8500gt, they use slow memory.

got some couple of vids, im really wondering why my btl's doesn't move much. little clipping on this full tilt but no clipping on this i really don't know why my btl's don't move much, it seems that the clip light must go on first before i notice some good excursion. don't get me wrong, it is definitely loud that it hurts my ears. but still i know im not reaching the btl's potential here edit: fixed the link

that amp will not do 600-1000 watts. it says rms 400 watts. but im not sure if it does rated power

apparently it does have low end!

heat the metal part until the solder melts when you touch the metal, then back off a little bit. don't heat it up too much because the solder will sift through the terminal and wire

that doesn't guarantee that your amp is fried. have you tried running it to see if it works? on my goliath xxv, i put the pos wire first then the neg. when i put in the neg, it sparked. so i pulled it off, noticed that my pos wire is too deep in the terminal and it might have touched the case itself. i fixed it and all is still running fine now.

for some odd reason i ran a jumper wire and it turned the amp on. turned off the car, took out the jumper wire turn the car back on and it worked!
