  1. Alright, well I will make sure to turn it on first thing when I get out there tomorrow. But either way I am still having this problem. So far it seems like it is cause the box has a small air leak around the sub, and I kind of question that cause at low volume it sounds clear and everything...
  2. The SSF is an on or off switch. There is PUNCH EQ, frequency and gain are the only knobs... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9850_R...P1000-1bd.html# Then click the picture to see what I am talking about.
  3. Well the box we built today, and it isnt leaking air that we can see around the box, except we did notice there is some air coming out of the front of the box where we cut the sub circle... The box is 1.73 cu ft, and I believe that the recommended was 1.79...
  4. We have a rockford fosgate p1000-1bd amp running at two ohms to the p3 sub. The gain on the amp is a little less than half and infrasonic filter is off but we have also tried having it on without a difference. when the volume is turned up about half way on the stereo it sounds like the sub is bottoming out until you turn the volume back down. what would make the sub sound this way?
  5. Check out the updated link for the video card, Emat, do you know anything about ATI?
  6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102730 I am looking to buy that video card as the last upgrade to my AGP computer. I dont really want to upgrade cause I dont do too much on the computer that it cant handle SPECS: AMD X2 Dual Core Socket 939 processor OCed at 2.3Ghz 1 Gig Corsiar XMS memory (x2 512) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...ies)-_-20145575 (Looking to buy 2 pairs of those to bump it to 3 gigs in my PC) ATI X800 250 GDDR3 Video 550watt PSU My question is will that video card be good for newer games? I got a video card around christmas that I guess was only good for video editing, and it wouldnt run COD4 without lagging horribly. It was GDDR3 512 but for some reason was not a gaming card I guess. I am more of an Nvidia guy, but I cant get my hands on the XFX 7950GT or else I wouldnt be posting this! Anyways, are there any ATI guys on here that have and idea about this card? I wanna run COD4, GRAW 2, Assassins Creed, and Rainbow 6 vegas2 at least. the card I have now (X800) runs Crysis on low, will that card in the link run Crysis? Thanks
  7. I am looking to sell a Dell laptop that has only been used for about 8 or 9 months. It was only used when I didn't want to go in my room to the desktop and it was just used to surf the web and simple stuff like that. Its got a gig of ram (expandable to 2 gigs of ram) and has a ATI Radeon X300 graphics system. a 1.7GHz Intel Celeron processor. There is absolutely no physical damage to the laptop and has some very nice features. Shoot me some offers and Ill see what I can do.
  8. So you cant just deepen the bass that is already in the song? I want to make it so that the bass doesnt distort the words. From my understanding what you told me to do is basically create my own beat... Do you understand what I mean?
  9. Can you explain in more detail what you mean?
  10. Can anyone tell me how to add bass to a song without distorting the voice?
  11. Does anyone on this forum us audacity?
  12. Alot of people that download games or programs off the internet use it. It basically makes the computer think there is another cd rom drive (virtually) and then you drag and drop the .ISO in the virtual drive and open it as if it was a cd. Pretty neat! hahaha. Anyways, I dont use it anymore, so I dont need it. Just thought I would let you all know what the problem was in case it comes up around one of you guys.
  13. Well, turns out Daemon tools was conflicting with a windows driver (SPTD.SYS) and that is what did it. I guess there is an update of Daemon tools that fixes this error so I recommend that anyone that uses that program get the updated version.
  14. I have Norton, it comes with my internet provider... I will try this tomorrow, im taking it into my computer class to look at it.
  15. Thats the thing, there are no new drivers... it was running fine when I shut it off... I have been in msconfig before, so what should I mess with in there?
  16. I have my computer plugged into a 50 inch high def tv... Since this is the monitor I use, I dont use my computer nearly as often as I did cause I am usually watching tv on it... well since I hadnt been on my pc in a while I decided to shut it off. It had been running fine. It was off for 3 days then I decided I wanted to listen to some music today, I turn on the computer and it loaded all my start up programs and everything, then right after aim (the last thing to load) loaded, it restarted my computer outta no where. It did this everytime I booted up the computer after that. It runs fine in safe mode, and I know it is a driver problem cause there are tons of drivers that are listed as errors in computer management under admin tools. System control manager is what the error is under, then when you click on it it shows the drivers that didnt load up, I have only mainly seen NETBIOS, DHCP, and other networking drivers so I am guessing maybe my wireless internet card driver isnt working right, but if it wasnt then aim shouldnt load then should it? anyways if someone could help me out with this that would be awesome. I just reformatted over christmas break so I dont want to do that again, also I have tried system restore to a couple of different points and that didnt work. any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. I would check again bro, its gotta burn cd's... even if it didnt why wouldnt you swap out the drive with one that did. Sounds to me the drive might just be faulty...
  18. It is eVGA, the only thing is that he forgot to register it when he got the card, so it is no longer under warranty
  19. All of these are correct ways to clear CMOS. I had the exact same problem with my laptop last week... it would POST and everything, I would go into BIOS and it would show that my hdd was there and everything, but after POST it would have a little white line in the upper left hand corner and it would flash for a random amount of time, then it would give the same error "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" Eventually I kept turning the damn thing on and off till it would load XP (took about an hour to boot after I got the loading XP screen to pop up) and I went into admin tools and checked to see if there were any errors, well turns out there were like twenty some errors since a certain date, so I system restored back to early december. I am not going to say that it fixed everything, but it does allow me to boot up in windows everytime, it still takes like 30 min to load everything up though....
  20. It is socket 939 on the AMD computer, if anyone has a chip higher then 3800+ dual core for AMD I will buy it... As for the Intel I am just going to overclock it maybe and wait till this computer, and the AMD cant handle newer games (both run crysis) and I said run so dont rub it in...I am just happy that I can play the game. Anyways till then I gotta save up money keep getting that savings bigger and bigger
  21. Alright, so my cousin ended up getting a quad core computer sli the whole 9 yards. anyways he gave me his old set up which was a P4 HT 3.0GHz processor with a 120 gig SATA hdd, 1 gig of ram and It has a PCIe on the mobo. I was wondering if I should upgrade that computer, or keep upgrading my computer that I have right now. Dual core AMD 2.0GHz O.C.ed to 2.35GHz with a gig of ram 256mb X800 ATI video card GDDR3 with a 250 gig hdd... I tried to order the 7950GT XFX AGP video card but they are backordered and I dont believe that they are going to get anymore in which disappoints me... but anyways, let me know what you guys think.
  22. I would download the DivX codec, google it, whenever I reformat my computer that is the first thing that I download... or you can try the K-Lite codec
